The Ottawa Citizen has published an extensive profile of the $1.2 million renovation project at 1934 Wellington St., which received recognition in the GOHBA Housing Design Awards competition last fall.

Architectural designer Chuck Mills teamed up with contractor Amsted Design-Build to co-ordinate and complete the project.

Leila Kariman and Daniel Lagasse purchased the house for $513,000 — then started work on the project that ultimately more than doubled the size of the original 1,200 sq. ft. home.
